Los siglos te contemplan. Sobreviviste a generaciones de hombres buenos y trabajadores. El duro clima de la sierra no pudo contigo. Un día, la avaricia, la ignorancia y la estupidez de algunos te despojaron de tus tesoros e hicieron arder tus entrañas. Pero tú aún sigues en pie, testigo mudo del devenir de los hombres, y permanecerás en ese cerro conteniendo el embate de los vientos hasta que tus piedras dejen de serlo y tus ruinas se desvanezcan en el tiempo.

Mar en calma. Ningún bañista. Tres vigilantes compiten por matar el aburrimiento. Dos navíos compiten por ver quién llega antes a su destino. Una tímida brisa levanta centenares de minúsculos cristales de arena que golpean mi cara. Me coloco, elijo el encuadre y disparo. Nada ocurre: los socorristas siguen a lo suyo, los buques también, y el mar...en calma.
